How Academic Advising Supports You

Advisors help you: 

  • Understand your program requirements and college policies
  • Choose courses that fit your goals and schedule
  • Explore majors and transfer options
  • Plan for career pathways and graduation
  • Connect to helpful campus resources 

Whether you're a new or current student, we'll support you in the process. 

Newly Admitted Students

If you're a new student, you鈥檒l begin your advising journey through the Advising tab in myAdmissions.

From there, you鈥檒l: 

  1. Complete your enrollment steps 
  2. Schedule your first advising appointment after placement testing or exemption
  3. Build your first-semester schedule with a professional advisor 

Current Students

As a current student, your assigned advisor is listed on your Advisor Card in my蘑菇视频.

You can: 

  • Contact your faculty advisor directly
  • Schedule an appointment online or by phone
  • Get personalized course and transfer guidance
  • Meet with a professional advisor at your 蘑菇视频 location

Where to Find Us

Advisors are located in the Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) on the first level of the Student Success Center.
